Secnap Network Security is committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors and clients. We uphold the highest industry standards in online privacy and protection. Secnap does not send unsolicited commercial email (UCE) or spam. You must explicitly request information from Secnap Network Security before Secnap will email you.

Security and Privacy

Secnap’s website uses security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information to anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your requesting information. 

Upon request, Secnap will allow users to “opt-out” of promotional contacts at any time. Also, upon a user’s request, Secnap will delete the user and his or her personal information from its database.

Information We Collect 

We collect information to provide and improve our services.

This includes: 
  • Usage Data: We may collect your IP address and browser type to diagnose server issues, administer our website, and understand how visitors use it. 
  • Registration Data: If you fill out optional forms (e.g., for newsletters or gated content), we collect your name, company, address, phone number, and email address. You can opt in to receive updates from us. 
  • Service Data: When providing managed network security, audits, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessments, our engineers do not intentionally collect personal information. If we accidentally receive it, we delete it immediately and notify the sender. 

At times we will use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website and track usage. We also may track browser types to help us understand our visitors’ needs related to our website design.

There are optional sections of our website where registration forms require your name, company, address, phone and email address. These forms provide the ability to opt-in to receive future emails from Secnap as well as receive access to optional sections of our website. If you opt-in to receive email communications from us, then we may send information to you about our products or services.

‍You may review and change or delete your information with us at any time by clicking on the “modify profile” link or similar found at the bottom of emails sent via our system or by accessing the registration section of our website.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements. Any information we retain is stored in our secure cloud environment.

Managed Network Security Services, Network Security and Compliance Audits, Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments

Secnap Engineers do not collect, maintain or forward any personally identifiable information (PII) during their normal course of work. Any PII accidentally received is immediately destroyed and the originating organization or individual is notified of both the accidental disclosure and the disposition of the PII.  All communications from Secnap'sSecurity Operations Centers (SOC) are sent using TLS encryption.

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of sales of personal information.

Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on our site. If at any point we decide to use PII in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users through an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
